Position Overview

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis while maintaining a regular presence in the laboratory to support daily operations. 

  • Provide technical guidance and assistance to Laboratory Technicians, ensuring analytical methods are carried out accurately and efficiently. 

  • Monitor, inspect and troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation to maintain reliable performance and minimise downtime. 

  • Conduct investigations on unknown samples, interpret analytical data and assist with resolving technical issues. 

  • Support the development, validation and continuous improvement of analytical methods and laboratory processes. 

  • Administer and maintain the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), ensuring data integrity and efficient sample management.
