Job Description
The role of Laboratory Technician is to prepare and analyse customer samples keeping in mind efficiency, quality and accuracy standards as required by the company. Upon commencement of employment a training plan will be initiated for the Technician. This will include all basic testing techniques appropriate for the work area
Laboratory Technicians will:
Become competent in the preparation of samples for analysis.Become competent in the laboratory work practices and requirements that facilitate analysis.Become familiar with all relevant laboratory test methods and procedures i.e. SOP’s.Ensure Compliance to the 17025 standard at all times by adhering to the in house quality procedures provided.Complete all documentation on time, accurately and legibly.Check weights and temperatures in line with company procedures.Keep their training sheets up to date and initiate training where possi...
