As a Medical Laboratory Technologist I, you will have the opportunity to perform a variety of routine and specialized microbiological tests and procedures consistent with technical knowledge/skills required for the department, in order to deliver accurate, timely results to clients. This position reports to a Manager, Clinical Supervisor, Technologist II or Program Leader in a designated area.

Responsibilities: Perform a variety of routine and specialized microbiological tests and procedures in one or more distinct laboratory areas including but not limited to PCR, rt-PCR, Nucleic Acid Extraction, sample processing and instrument troubleshooting. Maintain competency and participate in competency assessment programs consistent with the APL and ProvLab Quality Manuals.
