**Description**



This is a day shift Lactation Consultant position at Providence St John's Health Center, in Santa Monica, CA. Mulltiple positions for FT and PT, based on availabilty (1.0 FTE and 0.6 FTE) .



The Lactation Consultant (LC) is supervised by the Manager of Mother-Baby Unit. The LC is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the breastfeeding assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The position serves as a lead consultant that will provide breast-feeding education and assistance to in-patients and outpatients. The consultant will also provide education to nursing staff. This will ensure that consistent support is available to all patients.
