Land Acquisition. Drafts and reviews contracts (e.g., Contract to Sell, Deed of Absolute Sale, Extrajudicial Settlement of Estate, Easement Agreements, etc.). This also includes reviewing due diligence requirements and ensuring that the documents are legally proper and complete.
Assists the team (e.g. Property Management, Permitting & Compliance) in troubleshooting legal issues and recommend the best possible course of action with prevailing laws and jurisprudence as the basis thereof.
Communicates with internal and external parties in the contract to properly explain the rights and obligations imposed by such legal instruments.
Liaises with government agencies to ensure compliance with all the rules and regulations promulgated by such entities.
Studies relevant laws and ordinances and recommend possible actionable items to the team and ensure efficiency and effectivity of all activities within the company.
