Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Land Surveyor to support a utility and infrastructure client in Mechanicsville, VA. This role will lead survey efforts across rural subdivisions and utility corridor projects, managing field crews and office teams while delivering accurate boundary data for design and construction. The ideal candidate can own projects end-to-end, adapt to shifting priorities, and keep work moving in a fast-paced environment.
   
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Review project plans and oversee field crews and drafting teams
- Perform and oversee boundary surveys, including:
 - mapping subdivisions and corridors
 - researching deeds and property records
 - recovering property corners and site features
- Use Carlson and AutoCAD to create accurate survey maps and drawings
- Convert field data into deliverables for design and construction teams
