Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role; ideally within landfill environment with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• In-depth knowledge of the NEM: Waste Act, waste classification and management regulations, and landfill permitting requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office and Sage .
• Knowledge of an IMS system (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge ofdouble composite liner systems (HDPE + clay, permeability ≤1×10⁻⁹ m/s).
• Understanding ofGNR 635 waste assessment (TC and LC thresholds).
• Ability to enforcewaste acceptance criteria per GNR 636.
• Experience withleachate collection and leak detection systems.
