The Lead Admission Counselor is responsible for tasks related to the patient admission process. Registers patients, conducts patient interview, explains policies and financial responsibilities. Responsible

for obtaining all admission package signatures and consents.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


+ Updates and distributes daily census and bed availability information for Masonicare Health Center (MHC).

+ Verifies primary insurance benefits and existing Title XIX and Medicaid benefits working closely with the Finance Department on secondary insurance as they occur; make appropriate changes in the computer system.
