1. Role Purpose

The Lead Carbon Specialist holds primary responsibility for the technical integrity of VCarboN’s nature-based carbon assets. The role leads the development and finalisation of Project Design Documents (PDDs), carbon quantification and baseline modelling, and the design and operation of the Monitoring, Reporting and Verification (MRV) system. The Lead Carbon Specialist serves as the principal technical point of coordination throughout the validation and verification process, ensuring all assets meet the requirements of the Verra Verified Carbon Standard (VCS) and applicable Indonesian regulatory frameworks.

2. Key Responsibilities

Methodology & PDD Development

• Lead end-to-end development and finalisation of PDDs across the portfolio (peatland, mangrove, and ARR activities).
