Lead Engineer, Materials & Corrosion

Position located at KL Eco City, Malaysia.

Overall Job Purpose

Lead, supervise and guide Material and Corrosion Engineers in preparing corrosion assessments and material selection studies for FSO/FPSO facilities, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory standards across FEED, Detailed Engineering and Execution phases.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure discipline engineers comply with Modec standards, client and regulatory requirements.
• Support Senior Lead Engineer in review cycle and preparation of corporate standards related to corrosion assessment, materials selection, welding, coatings, cathodic protection, piping and valve materials.
• Supervise FEED, Detailed Engineering and Execution work to meet company standards, technical requirements, budgets and timelines.
