Summary You will serve as a LEAD FIREFIGTHER (BLS/HAZMAT TECH) in the Fire and Emergency Services of NAS KINGSVILLE TX. Responsibilities You will lead a crew of three or more firefighters assigned to staff a pumper, aerial ladder truck, or rescue vehicle in firefighting and rescue operations. You will direct the operation of firefighting equipment (e.g., pumps, turrets, extended waterways, ground sweep nozzles). You will establish on-scene control procedures (e.g., zone control, decontamination) in a hazardous material incident. You will identify training requirements to correct an employee's performance.
