Summary

Lead Hand oversees the daily operations of a transload facility, ensuring the safe and efficient transfer of materials between different transportation methods, such as railcars and trucks. This role involves hands‑on work and leadership responsibilities, including training staff, enforcing safety procedures, and coordinating tasks.

The Lead Hand will organize, manage and facilitate all standards for quality, safety, equipment maintenance and operation, as well as customer requirements. This opportunity is to foster an atmosphere of continuous improvement in all facets of the yard’s operation in order to achieve 100% customer satisfaction and quality control in the safest, most efficient way possible.
