Lead Mechanical Engineer – Mining & Industrial Projects

Lead the delivery of complex mechanical and piping engineering for mining and industrial projects across Canada, from early concepts through detailed design and execution on major EPCM programs.

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical expert on mechanical and piping engineering packages for multidisciplinary projects across all phases.
• Apply deep knowledge of codes and standards (ASME B31.3, B31.4, B31.8, ASME VIII Div 1/2, API, TEMA) to develop safe, compliant, and reliable systems.
• Direct and review piping layouts, isometrics, bills of materials, and fabrication deliverables, ensuring accuracy, constructability, and alignment with project standards.
• Evaluate, select, and specify rotating equipment—pumps, compressors, blowers—using lifecycle cost, operability, and performance criteria.
