Lead Quality Control Engineer

The Lead Quality Control Engineer will oversee the Quality Surveillance and Technical Records teams, providing leadership and coordination to strengthen quality processes, support customer escapes and quality investigations, and ensure engineering induction and delivery documentation align with GE Aerospace’s SQDC priorities.

Role Overview

• Manage the Quality Surveillance and Technical Records teams effectively.
• Lead quality initiatives on Cost of Quality, Vendor or Supplier Defects, process FTY and process non-compliance.
• Investigate customer escapes and communicate containment actions, Root Cause Analysis, and Corrective and Preventive action plans.
• Perform scheduled surveillance of operations areas and processes.
