Purpose

You will be part of a highly talented individuals' team responsible for bringing Air Transport Industry data to the next level. Your day‑by‑day duties will include developing APIs and backend systems in complex environments, working with data pipelines, extracting and digging into datasets from airports, airplanes, and ground handlers to gain insights that will be used to train ML models, improving reliability and ease of operations. We are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the Central Data Platform Team and design, develop, and maintain the main data‑based product for the industry: the SITA’s Total Airport Management System (TAM). The role requires an office presence of three days a week in our offices near Madrid Airport or in Barcelona city centre.
