The Learning & Development Specialist I plays a critical role in welcoming and preparing new employees for success at Sierra Central Credit Union. This position primarily facilitates new hire onboarding, introducing our culture, service standards, and sales expectations while training employees on over 12 core credit union systems. The Specialist I ensures employees are confident in performing everyday transactions, new account opening, and consumer lending from application through funding. In addition, this role supports the development of Financial Service Associates (FSA) through FSA II training, which includes complex account openings such as trusts, business accounts, IRA transactions, and real estate processes.
