Learning Scientist / Education Psychologist

Hours: 4–8 hours per week, flexible

Project: 3-4 months initially, with potential to extend

About the Project

We are currently developing an innovative AI-powered online platform, the Ignite Learning & Careers Hub , which connects learning with future career pathways in technology, STEM and creative industries.

We are looking to embed evidence-based learning science into the design of the platform to ensure that children and young people (aged 7–25) develop the skills to learn effectively, retain knowledge, and build long‑term confidence.

This includes integrating principles such as metacognition, motivation, cognitive load, and effective learning strategies into platform features, user journeys and AI‑driven interactions.
