Duration: 1–3 Months (with opportunities to transition into another partial-year leave replacement position and/or substitute teach daily through June)

Pay Scale: As per the NBTA Contract

Description: North Bellmore is seeking a leave replacement classroom teacher for various grade levels. The candidate is expected to speak, act and instruct students in a manner that is consistent with the District’s Core Values, Mission and Curricula areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for educating and nurturing young children in a classroom setting. They will be expected to create and implement lesson plans, differentiate instruction, maintain a positive classroom management system, assess student performance, communicate with parents, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a positive and effective learning environment.
