# About you
To be successful in this role, we are looking for candidates to have the following skills and experience: **Essential criteria** 1. Relevant postgraduate degree (e.g., TESOL, Applied Linguistics) and a Level 7 teaching qualification (e.g., DELTA, PGCE). Fellowship of Advance HE (FHEA) essential, with commitment to achieving Senior Fellowship (SFHEA).
2. Experience designing, developing and delivering English language and literacy programmes or modules in a higher education setting, including alignment with relevant credit frameworks (e.g., FHEQ) and contribution to curriculum approval processes.
3. Experience coordinating or leading Academic Skills/ Insessional/ EAP modules/programmes in higher education, including responsibility for educational areas, delivery oversight, assessment procedures and collaboration with academic and professional services colleagues.
4. Substantial experience of effective EAP teaching within an HE context.
