Responsibilities

Coaching and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to students, staff and start‑ups on engineering‑based projects/prototyping. Foster creativity and critical thinking in a collaborative, inquiry‑driven learning environment. Assist learners in designing, prototyping, testing, and refining their projects.

Workshop Facilitation: Design and lead hands‑on workshops related to mechanical engineering, electronics, CAD, robotics, or other relevant areas. Support cross‑disciplinary projects that combine engineering with art, design, or coding.

Makerspace Management: Ensure safe and effective use of tools and equipment (e.g. 3D printers, laser cutters, wood‑working machines, soldering stations). Maintain, perform basic repair, and calibrate engineering tools and equipment. Monitor inventory of materials and suggest procurement needs.
