About the Role
Capital Power Corporation is seeking a highly organized and proactive Legal Assistant based in Edmonton to join our in‑house legal department. This permanent, full‑time position offers the opportunity to work within a strong, collaborative and geographically dispersed legal team, supporting the company’s corporate legal functions.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support across the entire team, including travel matters, expense claims, calendar management, meetings, agendas, document organization and drafting correspondence.
- Monitor the Legal department group mailboxes and perform initial triage and routing of incoming communications and requests, responding to routine inquiries as appropriate.
- Receive, review and properly distribute documents served on Capital Power entities, ensuring timely escalation and tracking.
