**About this role**

We are seeking a **Legal Associate** to join BlackRock’s **Legal Insights** team, supporting our **FAIR (Fee and Expense Analysis & Reporting)** service for private market clients.

This role is ideal for a lawyer or legal professional with strong analytical skills who is interested in applying legal expertise in a **data‑driven, operational environment** .

**What you’ll do**

+ Review private fund documentation (LPAs, side letters, MFNs)
+ Analyse legal fee and terms data using standard templates
+ Identify non‑standard drafting, missing documents, and interpretation issues
+ Support FAIR validation and client reporting through accurate legal analysis
+ Work closely with senior lawyers and operations teams to deliver high‑quality outputs
