The Legal Counsel will advise on legal matters for MDIS, including policy, innovative academic collaborations, research initiatives, commercial transactions, regulatory rules and regulations, programmatic accreditation, and general business matters. He/she will work collaboratively with colleagues within MDIS to provide strategic legal advice throughout the Institute and help translate complex problems into practical solutions.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Prepare, analyze and review a variety of contracts with vendors, banking institutions, students, and other third parties (examples include Enrollment Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Consulting Agreements, Purchase Orders, Lease Agreements, etc.).
• Draft, develop and update contract templates and other forms used by MDIS.
