Legal Practice Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Draft, edit, and format legal documents
- Format and file court documents in state, federal, and municipal courts
- Track rules, deadlines, and procedures
- Manage attorney calendars, meetings, travel, and deadlines
- Enter attorney time and assist with billing coordination
Qualifications:
- High school diploma requires; bachelor's preferred
- 5+ years of civil litigation experience in CA state and federal court
- Strong experience in discovery, motion practice, and litigation support
- Appellate experience preferred
- Familiar with court rules and filing procedures
