Position Liaison Engineer for Stellantis (Resident at Stellantis facility)
Job Description Product Engineer to be resident at Saltillo Truck plant full time. This engineer will be a member to the DJ DRE team. The main responsibility is to represent and support the DREs when they are not present at the Saltillo plant.
Main Duties - Be the DRE representative when DREs are not present at the Vehicle Assembly Plant
- Provide engineering support during pilot builds
- Answer questions and provide guidance related to the harness design
- Aid in root causing issues with the Aptiv harnesses to determine whether they are quality or design.
- If a design issue is identified, the Liaison Engineer will help identify a solution
- Communicate back to the DREs issues found and potential solutions
- Keep track of issues found and breakpoint for containment
