Position Overview
Description
We are seeking a Licensed Helth Insurance Agent to support Medicare sales initiatives, with an initial focus on Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNP) and a transition to Individual Plans (IFP) during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) beginning October 1.
This role plays a critical part in helping eligible beneficiaries understand their healthcare coverage options and enroll in the plan that best fits their needs. Representatives will handle both inbound and outbound calls in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Educate prospective members on Medicare, Medicaid, and Individual plan options, including D-SNP offerings
Assist dual-eligible beneficiaries in enrolling into Sentara's Community Complete (HMO D-SNP) plan
Conduct needs assessments to recommend appropriate coverage based on eligibility and healthcare needs
Provide benefit explanations, plan comparisons, and accurate quotes
