Setting Introduction: The major job of the College Registered nurse is to assess the health and wellness requirements of trainees, establish emergency care plans, and manage private health insurance plans, incorporating input from parents and/or physicians, complying with laws related to student health. This includes obtaining parental/guardian consent, providing appropriate care for ill or medically fragile and/or injured students, and acting as a health information resource for parents, educators, staff, and administrators; and determining health issues for referral to proper treatment.
