We are seeking a motivated Licensed Practical Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at Dawson Creek Health Unit. The Primary Care LPN functions as a member of an interprofessional team and applies best practice to provide competent, safe, and ethical care for people and their families in settings such as physician practices, homes, schools, and communities.
The role includes performing assessments, planning, implementing, and providing personal and nursing care, administering oral, subcutaneous, and intramuscular medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies, and supporting individuals to achieve and maintain optimal health. The LPN will assist within the Emergency department, MED/Surg, and Long‑Term Care within the scope of competency.
