Summary The Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor (LPMHC) serves as a member of the Behavioral Health Interdisciplinary Program (BHIP). The BHIP is a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals which provides comprehensive, accessible, Veteran-centered mental health care. Responsibilities Major Duties: Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor GS-9: Is the entry level grade of the GS-0183 Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor series and is used for Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselors with less than one year of post-master's degree experience or for Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselors with a graduate degree in counseling, but who have not yet become licensed at the independent practice level.
