**Job Description**
The Kim lab in the Departments of Pediatrics is seeking a highly motivated Life Science Research Professional 1 (LSRP) to join the lab. Dr. Kim is interested in pediatric solid tumors, especially in sarcomas. He is an expert in cancer epigenetics and is interested in understanding the fundamental biology of how cancer driver mutations function. Dr. Kim is also interested in targeting the crucial drivers for translation into human trials. LSRP will be involved in two major projects, one focused on understanding the driver mutation PAX3::FOXO1 in rhabdomyosarcoma and the other one focuses on the epigenetic regulation of fusion transcription factor driven cancers.
The ideal candidate will be expected to commit to minimum of two years in the lab and will have experience in experimental techniques such as western blot, viral transduction, drug treatment, next generation sequencing, mammalian cell culture work, and mice experiments. LSRP will perform...
