Supervise Operations: Oversee crane operators, riggers, and signalers during lifts, ensure adherence to plans, and monitor conditions like weather or ground stability to make timely decisions.
Manage Equipment: Inspect lifting gear (cranes, slings, shackles), verify certifications, and ensure proper maintenance and storage.
Ensure Compliance: Confirm all personnel are qualified and certified, and ensure operations meet local laws and international standards (e.g., LOLER, BS 7121).
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain records of lifts, equipment certifications, and incidents; investigate near-misses and implement corrective actions.
