CDD: Technical specialist: zooarchaeology (Sheffield)

You will support the University of Sheffield’s Bioarchaeology team with delivering SHEFF BIOARCH, a project to enhance and expand access to our internationally important archaeobotanical and zooarchaeological collections. The project will contribute to a national network of bioarchaeological collections in partnership with the University of Aberdeen and Historic England (Portsmouth). You will be responsible for enhancing the zooarchaeological collection, including expansion, storage and documentation, and facilitate its use by external researchers and the wider public. You will build relationships with external users by preparing documentation, bespoke training and through promotion of the collection across professional networks.
