Litigation Paralegal – Cite Checking Project (Contract)

Robert Half is seeking multiple full-time Litigation Paralegals for an immediate-start, 4-week remote contract project. We are looking for candidates with recent California litigation experience and strong cite-checking skills to support complex litigation matters. Overtime required as trial approaches.


Responsibilities:

+ Review and cite-check summary judgment motions, Daubert motions, dispositive motions, appellate briefs, and expert reports

+ Verify case citations, reporter information, courts, years, and pincites

+ Confirm cited authority supports the propositions referenced

+ Ensure compliance with Bluebook citation standards

+ Validate statutes, regulations, and case law using Westlaw and/or Lexis

+ Compare quotations against original sources for accuracy

+ Identify missing, incomplete, or inaccurate citations
