Position Overview
The Litigation Secretary will support attorneys handling civil, business, and real estate litigation matters. This role requires strong litigation experience, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines and court filings with precision.
Key Responsibilities
ββ’ Prepare, revise, and finalize litigation documents including pleadings, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence
ββ’ File documents electronically with California state and federal courts and ensure compliance with court rules and deadlines
ββ’ Manage attorney calendars, litigation deadlines, hearings, depositions, and trial schedules
ββ’ Coordinate service of process and work with courts, opposing counsel, and outside vendors
ββ’ Maintain and organize physical and electronic case files
ββ’ Assist with trial preparation, including exhibits, binders, and witness coordination
