Live-in Caregiver – Senior with Neuro-degenerative Condition and Physical Disabilities

We are seeking a reliable, experienced and compassionate caregiver to provide full-time care for an elderly woman (age 86) with a neuro-degenerative condition, mobility limitations, cognitive and speech impairments.

The client is wheelchair-bound and requires assistance with all activities of daily living (ADLs) in a home setting.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–5 years of senior caregiving experience
• Experience supporting individuals with similar presentation:
  • stroke, Parkinsonism, dementia and similar conditions
  • moderate to severe mobility and communication challenges
  • Mild to moderate cognitive impairment
• Ability to safely assist with lifting and transfers
• Physically capable of supporting a high-dependency client
