Job Description
This role will be accountable for the day to day load planning execution of rail to maximize optimum wagon utilisation. There will be daily liaison with customer service and fleet teams along with shift supervisors to ensure that customer service expectations are met.
Reporting to the Rail Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the required capabilities in the following areas:
Rail service planning — Plan and administer all Parkes rail movements to meet customer delivery requirements and minimise delays. Wagon & container utilisation — Achieve KPIs by optimising load capacity and ensuring accurate SAP wagon processing before departure. Customer documentation — Compile all freight paperwork for Perth-bound services and maintain data integrity across systems.
