Introduction

Client based in the South of Johannesburg who is a bulk distributor is seeking a Logistics Coordinator.

Duties & Responsibilities

1. Planning of customer orders / deliveries
2. Monitoring satellite tracking activities
3. Vehicle utilization
4. Managing service level with customer
5. Scheduling and route planning
6. Allocate relevant vehicles and drivers to specific orders
7. Issue drivers with orders and specific on route instruction
8. Coordinated dispatching drivers to accomplish daily delivery requirements
9. Reviewed order data to verify transactions and shipping dates

Desired Experience & Qualification

1. 3-5 years experience in logistics
2. Matric
3. Relevant tertiary education would be advantageous
4. Must live close to Alberton (South of Johannesburg)
