KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
& DUTIES:
This person would be a member of, and Lead, the Logistics Team with the responsibility to successfully implement Taiga’s logistical needs and functions, including but not limited to:
Assess internal Taiga freight requirements to negotiate competitive market rates and secure reliable freight servicesCoordination of inbound and outbound material using various systems (BisTrack, Freight Boards, WMS, OptiRoute, ScanTrack)Follow up and maintain the status of scheduled inbound and outbound shipmentsStay current with industry trends that will influence the supply, demand, and cost related to Taiga’s freight requirementsAbility to create Customs documentation for cross border freight movementsReview and process freight and custom invoices efficiently and accuratelyInteract with railways and represent the interests of Taiga’s rail-serviced operationsInteract...
