Summary The VISN Chief Supply Chain Officer (VCSCO) provides supply operations oversight and support for the Medical Centers located throughout the geographic area covered by the pertinent VISN or program area. The VCSCO plans, coordinates, interacts with, and evaluates the logistical and supply chain management actions required to support the VISN health care operations. Responsibilities Major duties include but are not limited to: Responsible for administrative and strategic direction of the supply chain, to include budget execution, for VISN-wide logistical programs. Oversees and manages strategic planning, auditing, quality assurance, and program compliance and oversight of all SCM programs and inspections as well as various activities designed to enhance the mission of the affected VISN and its facilities.
