Job Duties

Under direct supervision, responsible for the movement of national and international goods in compliance with local and international legislation. The position requires knowledge of all possible movement restrictions, experience in one or two modes of transport (maritime, air, or land) and knowledge of hazardous movements. It coordinates pre-shipment instructions and works with service providers on movements. It coordinates orders for shipment of cargo from origin to destination, to ensure that the product meets delivery requirements via the most efficient method, while interacting with customers to keep them informed of progress. All files must be kept in accordance with shipping requirements. It gathers supplier values and analyzes short‑term business needs while planning shipment movement.
