Hire Resolve’s client in the Logistics Industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Logistics Supervisor to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal.
Responsibilities:
Communicate with the Head office, contractors, and port agents regarding port plans Reconcile RMT and train transfers to the port from the Mining Group Reconcile and oversee stock transfers in port and stock transfers to staging and loading areas for vessel loading Manage and oversee the use and efficiency of third-party port assets, stockpile management, labelling, and scanning process Ensure the correct product is loaded Oversight of the SGS sampling procedure during the offloading of trains and RMTs, as well as during the shifting of Cargo and loading of the vessel Communicate and propose improvements in operational efficiencies
