Overview
TEKsystems is seeking motivated Cable Technicians to support commercial structured cabling projects throughout Connecticut. We are looking for candidates with experience installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting low-voltage cabling systems. This is an excellent opportunity for both entry-level technicians with hands-on experience and experienced cable technicians looking to grow their careers.
Responsibilities

+ Pull, route, and secure Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cable

+ Terminate copper and fiber cabling

+ Install cable supports, J-hooks, cable trays, and pathways

+ Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and wiring diagrams

+ Test and troubleshoot cable runs using industry-standard testing equipment

+ Label and document cabling installations
