The Licensed Practical Nurse works within the framework of the Patient Care Services Organization as a member of the health care team. The primary responsibilities of the Licensed Practical Nurse is to deliver patient care under the
direction of a Registered Professional Nurse within the realm of the New York State Practice Act.


Assist patients in reaching outcomes as established by the RPN in the plan of care.
