Company Profile: Day One Society (Phoenix Centre) provides substance use services and advocacy for individuals, families and communities. We have a 20-bed inpatient detox unit, outpatient youth counselling, youth day treatment and supportive recovery programs.
Position: Full-time and Casual (hours described below). Reporting to the Detox Supervisor, the LPN provides nursing care and support to clients with potential psychological, emotional, behavioural, and medical problems who are withdrawing from substances. The role requires flexibility and responsiveness in a stressful environment, including managing emergency situations. The position also provides education to clients and consultation to staff as required. The hours of work for this position are full-time (1,950 hours per year) with extended shifts (12 hours) on a master rotation (2 Days, 2 Nights followed by at least 4 days off).
