The Licensed Practical Nurse II under the general supervision of a registered professional nurse, provides care for patients and families of any age regardless of gender. Through the provision of basic patient care, the LPN II participates in the restorative, health maintenance and wellness plan defined by a multidisciplinary team. Requirements: Graduation from an accredited LPN Program. Current licensure in New York State or eligibility for limited permit to practice. Documentation of successful completion of pharmacology course required, either through basic program or other approved coursework. Current BLS required.
