Position Overview
The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The Geriatric Nursing Assistant performs a variety of individualized patient care activities including bathing, dressing, feeding and transporting as well as related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of the geriatric patient population.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Active CNA with Geriatric Certification, required
+ Experience with memory care patients, preferred
+ Prefer one year of geriatric nursing assistant experience as a certified nursing assistant within the last three years.
