Overview

We are a team of applied machine learning engineers and data scientists focused on E-commerce recommendations for TikTok Shop. Our work includes building innovative algorithms and techniques to improve user engagement and satisfaction, converting ideas into business-impacting solutions. We apply large-scale machine learning to solve real-world problems in E-commerce. We are offering an internship in 2026. Internships at TikTok aim to provide students with industry exposure and hands-on experience. Candidates may apply to a maximum of two positions and will be considered for jobs in the order of application. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, so early application is encouraged. Successful candidates must be able to commit to at least a 3-month internship period.
