**Job Title: Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

This role focuses on setting up and operating a CO2 6K Bystronic laser to cut thin gauge and structural steel parts according to blueprint specifications. The Machine Operator performs basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance, works with mild steel and stainless steel materials, and provides clear instructions to material handlers to ensure efficient and accurate production output.

**Responsibilities**

+ Set up and operate a CO2 6K Bystronic laser (26') for cutting thin gauge and structural steel parts.
+ Cut parts according to blueprint and shop drawing specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
+ Perform basic troubleshooting on the laser equipment to resolve operational issues.
+ Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to keep the laser and related equipment in optimal working condition.
