To supervise and monitor all works carried out by machine shop workers for assigned jobs and ensure adherence to quality standards and timeframes thereby enabling timely execution of jobs.

Responsibilities

• Obtain the cutting list and drawing from the machine shop supervisor, prepare summary and check/allocate timber based on the density, moisture content, appearance and other specification required for the production.
• Assist machine shop supervisor in preparing Samples/ Mockup’s required for client/consultant approval.
• Organize cutting list and measurement of the various components in accordance with the approved drawing for the machine shop to start production.
• Supervise the work regularly, provide on the spot guidance to ensure high quality craftsmanship and keep machine shop supervisor posted on the progress of the work.
