You will need to accurately read drawings and specifications with an understanding of geometric tolerances and dimensions. A solid working knowledge of various tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, and inserts used on different machines is essential. You should be able to use mathematical skills to calculate material, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, geometry, and algebra. The ability to set priorities and efficiently advance projects to achieve customer and quality objectives is crucial. You will work independently and follow through with assignments with minimal supervision, adhering to safety and quality standards, and reporting and correcting all issues.
